How we handle your data
Any information that you provide will be stored on a secure username/password protected database on a secure Queen Mary University of London server. Your cancer team and GP will be notified of your participation in the study. Your genetic testing results will be shared with you, your cancer team, and your GP. Apart from this, your participation in the study will be kept confidential.
The information that you provide for the study will be kept confidential. Researchers who do not need to know who you are will not be able to see information that may identify who you are. You will not be directly identifiable from any analysis of the study data or the outcomes of the study.
Some of your personal information will be securely kept by the genetic testing laboratory that processes your genetic sample according to standard NHS practice.
